Meet the Team
Tami Batschelet
I graduated from Faust Institute of Cosmetology. I am a member of Cosmetologists and Barbers of Iowa and a member of The Day Spa Association. I am excited to be certified in microdermabrasion. I also specialize in skin care, makeup up application, and pedicures. I love seeing someone transform before my eyes. They may come in from a bad day or maybe never used skin care or makeup but when they are pampered, their whole being changes. A smile on their face is my best reward.
Jess Doehrmann
I used to be a high school Spanish teacher but have crossed over into the world of skin care. Having dealt with skin problems for most of my life, I am very excited to now be in the position to help others with their own skin concerns.
Lori Schon
I live in Spencer with my husband Mike and 4 children. Working at DermUs is something different than I've ever done before and I truly love it. I enjoy teaching people about skin care (wear a UVA protection sunscreen everyday!) and giving them suggestions on makeup. I have worked at DermUs for 3 years as of 2011.
Bliss Meister
I work with the retail and makeup at DermUs and occasionally do a few services. My goal is to educate every client about their skin and select the perfect products for their skin needs. Everyone wants beautiful, healthy skin and at DermUs we are there to get you to that place. I am not just about picking up a product and selling it to you because it sounds good. I am there to educate and explain how and why a product is going to work for you. I am passionate about skin care because there is no greater feeling than doing a makeup application and having them look in a mirror and feel more beautiful than ever or selecting products that give people extraordinary results at DermUs we care, regardless of any skin issues we can help.
Robin Edwards
I am very blessed to be the owner of DermUs. I truly love what I do and the people with whom I work. In 1993 I graduated from Iowa State with my Bachelors of Science and then I realized that there really is a job where you can play makeup all day long. So in 1999 I went back to school for esthetics training at the Aveda Institute in MN and shortly thereafter opened DermUs Skin Care next to Gaul Dermatology. Without the great training, advice and watchful eye of Dr. Gaul and his staff I never could have expanded my clinical knowledge base which has allowed me to choose the most amazing skin care products and makeup available on the market. And now DermUs has expanded to downtown Spencer and is so much more than just a few great products. DermUs truly is the leader, the original, top of the line skin care and service provider in northwest Iowa.
Rebecca Moran
I graduated from LaJames School of Cosmetology and am a licensed cosmetologist. I am certified in the practice of microdermabrasion. I also perform facials, body wraps, makeup applications, manicures, and pedicures. I love to help women feel beautiful from the inside out. Come and relax!
