Directions for Use
Cleanse skin thoroughly with the appropriate cleanser before applying the Perfection Gel. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. If applying to entire face, you should not apply another leave-on glycolic acid-based product at the same time. Layering may cause unnecessary irritation. If you are using the gel as a spot treatment, application may be followed by a leave-on glycolic acid-based product. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce applications to once a day or once every other day.
Precautions
A mild, temporary stinging sensation may be noted during initial days of use. If you experience stinging, try waiting 15 minutes after cleansing before applying the Perfection Gel. If redness, irritation or excessive stinging develops, wash product off and discontinue use. Once all signs of irritation subside, gradually resume applications, such as once every other day. If there is no sign of irritation, usage can be increased gradually.
